The O’Brien International School – Accreditation and University Partnerships

The O’Brien International School has a strong and diverse academic foundation backed by internationally recognised examination boards and education institutions.

We are an  approved examination centre for AQA, Centre No. 74264, since 2013.

We are registered with UCAS, the UK’s centralised university application service.

We are a registered examintion centre with Oxford AQA, Licence No. 74264.

We are an approved Pearson Edexcel centre since 22 July 2022, operating under Centre Number 95345.

We have been officially registered with the British Council since 24 May 2022, under Certificate Number BC 2023/96.

At O’Brien International School, we recognise that every student has the potential to succeed. That’s why we offer a broad range of internationally recognised qualifications that are valued by both employers and universities worldwide. Our curriculum is designed to give students the opportunity to achieve the qualifications they need to progress to the next stage of their academic or professional journey.

While a number of our graduates successfully pursue higher education opportunities in the UK, the majority choose to continue their studies here in Spain. Many of our recent graduates have secured places at Spanish private universities, including UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, where they are preparing to study subjects such as Criminology, Business Administration, and Translation and Interpretation.

We are proud to maintain a bilateral cooperation agreement with UCAM, signed on 25 March 2021 by April German, International Marketing & Admissions Deputy Director at UCAM, and John O’Brien, representing The O’Brien International School. This agreement enables us to represent UCAM locally and support the university with student enrolment and admissions.
